Test Of The WCHS All Alumni Quarterly Newsletter
Friday, November 6, 2009
Hi, Grad!As you know, the first edition of the William Chrisman High School All Alumni Quarterly Newsletter is set to go out January 2010.
The purpose of this "test" e-mail is to make sure everything is working Okay.
There will be two main thrusts to the actual quarterly e-mails:
- Sharing information on current school activities, this part of the newsletter will be compiled by Dan Ogle, WCHS Activities Director, using input from school faculty and staff as well as PTA, fund raisers (future bears, scholarships, LINKS and similar.)
- Sharing information on individual Class Reunions, all class birthday parties, joint activities, etc. will be compiled by Robie Mathews using input mainly from the individual class reunion coordinators. Alumni may also send Robie items to be considered for inclusion in the newsletters.
- To keep this newsletter free for all of us, there will be up to two sponsors for each edition.
- About a week after an e-mail goes out, it will be posted on the www.WilliamChrismanHighSchool.com website.
If you are an Alumni and reading this, then please make sure your Class Reunion Coordinator gets information on your Class for the January - February - March time frame to Robie Mathews very early in December. The same applies to faculty and staff and students - please get your input to Dan Ogle early in December for the January - February - March newsletter. Bragging on outstanding students and announcing events to which alumni are welcome - that is encouraged. We need to find a way to write up bio sketches on former/retired teachers.
