It will be at Geo. Owns Nature Park, August 2nd, 2008, from noon to 5:00 pm.

Everyone is responsible for their own food and beverages. All are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and games.

Birthday cake will be provided.

Okay - here 'tis! Why on earth would a bunch of normal human beings want to get together all at one time to indulge themselves in the pleasure of turning 60 years old? It goes like this, when one turns sixty all by themselves - it is painful, those who come by can not seem to avoid remarking how well you look for your age and of course when all these folks share a joint graduation date - there is opportunity to share the grief, share the birthday cake, and relax amongst those whom you know like you and are glad that you all are alive and well. That is kind of how I see why we enjoy these turning "whatever" Class birthday parties. (End of editorial comment.)

The Class of 1966 40th reunion will be October 20 & 21, 2006. Friday night reception at William Chrisman High School, social hour at 5:00 p.m., tour of the school at 6:00 p.m. and for those who wish to stay, a Truman/Chrisman football game at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday morning there will be an informal golf tournament at Royal Meadows Golf Course, 10501 E. 47th St., KCMO. Cost $30 per person, (to be collected at course) which includes greens fee and cart. Tee off time around 9:00 a.m.. For further information contact Tim Richardson 816-252-9269.

Saturday Night - Dinner/Dance at the Quincy Room, at the Clarion Hotel (formerly Adams Mark), across from the Truman Sports Complex. Registration and social hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a full course dinner and dessert. Dancing and visiting till 11:00 p.m.

$85.00 per couple/$45 single, payment includes Memory Book.
