--------------- Joe "Richard" Perez ----------------
Joe "Richard" Perez, 63, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 3, at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with a visitation from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at Swan Lake Memorial Park, Grain Valley.
Joe was born April 5, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. He married Shirley Berger on September 6, 1969. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1965 and received his Masters Degree in Education from UMKC.
Joe held various positions in the field of Education where he was admired and respected by students and faculty.
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968 during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Tana Perez; and his granddaughter, McKayla Perez. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; son, Bruce (Lisa) Perez; granddaughters, Cierra and Kayli Perez; sister, Marcy Wishon; bothers, Tony and Robert Perez, all of Independence, MO. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, and friend and will be dearly missed.

----- Any Ideas For A Holiday Party or Outing??? -----
If anyone has an idea for a Holiday Party or Outing - we don't currently have anything scheduled. Don't be shy, the way time flys, the holidays will be over and forgotten if you hesitate.
If no one comes up with anything, Christmas on the River in Parkville is a really fun time. Usually the first Friday in December. If a bunch wants to go to that, we could link up at one of their restaurants. If you want to try this one - call me (816) 461-9110 or e-mail me cectayl@swbell.net.
