I've also trying out living in Phoenix. Haven't sold my house (Blue Springs), but spend most of my time there (Phoenix).
Miss you all, but still chasing rainbows.
You met Teri at the Airline History Museum earlier this year at Tom Corum's party.
We've been spending a lot more time together since then.
I can't make this coming event, but thought you folks might want to know about it.
Been twice and it's really cool. It takes place at the Airline History Museum.

------------- Do You Remember In 1965? --------------
The Great White Doctor of the Jungle, Albert Schweitzer, passed on September 4th. In 1913, Albert Schweitzer, arrived at Lambarene to work at a hospital operated by American Protestant missionaries. In 1925 the Schweitzer institution rose in a clearing on the banks of the Ogoone sized to treat 500 patients per day. The hospital was always primitive by Western standards as in the beginning Schweitzer at the request of Africans had not built a tall hospital, but rather a hospital on the ground where Africans could walk in huts and cook their own meals outside. By 1962, the hospital was treating 6,000 patients per year. This information taken from "The World in 1965, History as we lived it," by the Kansas City Star.
------------- Please tell a friend/classmate ----------------
We now have 154 people signed up for this quarterly Classes e-mail. It would sure be swell going into a reunion year to have a couple hundred more classmates on this list so we can include everyone in our 45th Reunions. And, I might add at almost no cost for mailing.
NOTE: We use a two step signup process called "double opt in." So, if you know a classmate's e-mail address you can go to our website and enter their name and e-mail address and click submit. This takes you to a thank you page and sends them an e-mail asking them if they want to be on the list. If they say yes, they're in. If they say no or do nothing, it is like nothing ever happened - but you can feel better knowing you tried to include them. To sign up a friend and give them the option of joining in - click on http://www.williamchrismanhighschool.com/classes/1965/FLMP_sign_up_list.shtml You will have also made me very happy. Thank you.
--------------- If you want off the list -------------------
Please don't, but if you want to get off our e-mail list, simply click on the following link and you will be off our list: http://xxxxx.
--------------------- That's all folks! ------------------
See ya and have a great holiday season,
Cecil Taylor
