The Passing of Henry Ellis Swayze, Senior

Henry Ellis Swayze,Sr., 83, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007. Mr. Swayze was born November 1, 1924.

With Henry Ellis Swayze's collection business having its offices in Colorado and New York, it was sad due to the occasion, but yet nice see Ellis as we called him at Benton Grade School. Lucky Devil hasn't aged as much as the rest of us. His older brother and younger sister also attended the visitation at Speaks funeral home on Winner Road. Busy man that he is these days, Ellis was running a tad late and that made chatting a quick hello and goodbye between Ellis, Bob Bergin, Jimmy Pescetto and Cecil Taylor.
