Ambaline "Amy" Pritchett, 82, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19th from 11-12 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel. A graveside service will follow visitation in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Ambaline was born October 3, 1923 in Elk Ranch, Arkansas. Ambaline and Mike lived in Independence, Missouri all of their married life. She worked at Safeway for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike of 57 years, and great grandbaby, Jon Michael. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Howe (Mike), and Pat Heigele, 3 grandchildren; Jeff Howe (Debbie), Julie Davis (Craig), Chris Heigele (Kim), and 6 great grandchildren; Kelsie & Brooke Howe, Emily & Sarah Davis, Ben & Claire Heigele.
Amy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the church or to Children's Mercy.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, so devoted to her family. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Hidden Lake Care Center for the wonderful care they gave to Ambaline.
