You Are Invited To Our 50th Class Reunion

Dear Classmate:

It's time to join together in a salute to our class and our high school. This is the big reunion! So, come along and lets meet and greet each other, recall the past days and share our experiences over the last 50 years. The planning committee has met on several occasions and has come up with:

• A place:
• Palmer Junior High School across from the Memorial Building (Maple and Pleasant)

• A time: Please make checks payable to WCHS 1958 Class Reunion
• Gather at 6:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2008.
• Class Pictures at 6:30 pm sharp! (6:45 pm in the Memorial Hall if inclement weather)
• Supper at 7:15 pm
• An after-supper program: 20 - 30 minutes at most.
• Mingle and renew: 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

• The cost:
• $60.00 a couple, $30.00 a single reservation.

• Something before:
• Includes a tour of WCHS before the football game
• A football game at William Chrisman's field on Friday, September 26th, at 7:00 pm. We have reserved a section for our Class to attend the game. There is a nominal charge by the school for this at the gate. (Bring proof that you are over 55 years of age.)

• Something during the Reunion:
• Includes a tour of the old WCHS on Maple before the reunion.
• A test for the alumni.
• Awards and Recognition.
• DVD purchase order for unofficial pictures of the reunion, test and eBooklett.
• 2008 Memory Book and Class Picture (separate purchase).
• Hosted by Joe Ben Stone, MC.
• Buffet to include beef brisket, chicken, potatoes, green beans, salad, coffee, tea and dessert.

All skillfully done in a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. City of Independence policies prohibit the use of either in the building or on the property not our rule, their rule!

For all the purpose of publishing as accurate a Memory Book as possible, we need to have your reservation with payment and your order/data sheet completed and sent to us no later than August 15th, 2008. If we don't receive the current update, we will print the prior old information we have on you in the 2008 Memory Book!

P.S. Our class has no endowment. We do have seed money from the end of the 2003 reunion to help with this one. It is not a large amount. Any contribution to that fund will be greatly appreciated.

We are truly interested in having as many classmates attend this Reunion as possible, and if financial reasons are holding you back from coming - please fill out your reservation for the event as usual and let me know there is a problem as there is a way to partially or completely resolve the charges confidentially, between you and me. You will receive a separate confirmation of your reservation and no committee member or anyone else will ever have that information. SBM
