spring component to be compacted and the frame component to be separated into its recyclable parts.
Referring now to the invention in more detail, in Fig. 25D and Fig. 25E and Fig. 26 there is shown one embodiment of the current invention comprising: a hydraulic pump 504, an adjustable position movable cylinder 506, an adjustable dual chisel point 508, an adjustable position movable cylinder 502, a single chisel point 500, a cutting base 512, and a subcomponent 510 of the separated base subcomponent 563 of the set of box springs 551 with the subcomponent slats 542 and with the subcomponent long boards 544.
In more detail, still referring to the invention of Fig. 25E and Fig. 26, in operation the subcomponent slats 542 are placed on top of the subcomponent long boards 544 and rest on the top of the cutting base 512. Then the adjustable position movable cylinder 502 with the single chisel point 500 is positioned directly above the subcomponent slats 542 and the inside edge of the outer
subcomponent long boards 544 and the adjustable position movable cylinder 506 with the adjustable dual chisel point 508 is positioned directly above the subcomponent slats 542 and the underlying edges of the inner subcomponent long boards 544 and the adjustable dual chisel point 508 is adjusted such that each of its chisel points is directly above an edge of the inner subcomponent long boards 544. Then the hydraulic pump 504 activates both the adjustable position movable cylinder 502 and the adjustable position movable cylinder 506 moving the single chisel point 500 and the adjustable dual chisel point 508 downward cutting through the subcomponent slats 542 down to the cutting base 512 thus separating the subcomponent long boards 544 from the subcomponent slats 542. Then the hydraulic pump 504 activates both the adjustable position movable cylinder 502 and the adjustable position movable cylinder 506 moving the single chisel point 500 and the adjustable dual chisel point 508 upward back to their original shown positions. When all the subcomponent long boards 544 are separated from the subcomponent slats 542 all parts of the subcomponent long boards 544 and the subcomponent slats 542 are removed.
In further detail, still referring to the invention of Fig. 26,
the adjustable dual chisel point 508 needs to be of adequate adjustable width to span the width of the subcomponent long boards 544 in order to make the two cuts in one stroke. Where necessary, the single chisel point 500 may be used in lieu of the adjustable dual chisel point 508.
The construction details of the invention as shown in Fig. 26 are "as shown" and "may be" made of high strength steel or titanium or high carbon steel.
The advantages of the present invention shown in Fig. 26 include, without limitation,
In broad embodiment, the invention Fig. 26 comprises a mechanical means of cutting the subcomponent slats 542 along the edges of the subcomponent long boards 544 and may be accomplished via various types of saws in addition to the chisels shown.
