A Bit Of Explanation
Of What You're Watching

This video is rather poor in that it is a hand held home camcorder video and in order to fit it on the web, it was crudely edited from some 28 minutes down to about 2 1/2 minutes. It begins with Mr. McMillian turning on the Prototype - the ram being pulled back to open the Prototype chamber to accept a set of springs - a short shot of the chamber door being raised and lowered - a set of springs being placed on the Prototype's loading table and then inserted into the chamber - then with the chamber door closed - the ram and table are moved towards the closed chamber door with the table sliding out of the chamber underneath the door while the ram crushes the springs inside the chamber. The chamber door is opened and the crushed springs shown. This is followed by two stills of other actual crushed springs sets - the first having been reinserted and folded over once and the second still image showing a set of springs that had been reinsterted twice and folded twice. The Prototype was not intended to reinsert and fold crush mattresse spring sets. We did this to prove to ourselves that folding would let us reach Scrap Steel dimensions for Scrap Steel No. 2 and No. 1 respectively. Hope this Prototype crude video is of value to you.
